100 Preludes

"100 Preludes" is about a young cellist who establishes strict guidelines for creating 100 preludes to prove her talent, which was previously dismissed by a deceitful mentor. This is a compelling and groundbreaking story of self-discovery, unfolding in the challenging and inspiring atmosphere of a Music Conservatory. The feature film is directed by Alessandra Pescetta.

Alessandra embarked on her artistic path through dance, dedicating years to its study before transitioning to painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, where she obtained her degree. Her early venture into video art revealed a profound exploration of the human body, utilizing it as a tool for inquiry and as a sacred and intimate space. Upon moving to Milan, she continued this exploration by directing music videos for well-known artists such as Elisa, Ligabue, Subsonica, and Planet Funk, along with creating advertising campaigns for top-tier brands. Throughout her extensive career, Alessandra collaborated on advertising projects for Campari Mixx, Lancia Y, Disaronno, Bvlgari, Muller, and Seat, earning a Bronze Lion at Cannes for "Crisalide," a socially conscious advertisement addressing eating disorders.

Concurrently, she delved deeper into the expressive realm of video art, with her pieces exhibited in esteemed art institutions like the Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, MART, Macro, and Maxi. In 2005, she refined her cinematic skills by participating in the "Fare cinema" course led by Marco Bellocchio.

In 2003, Alessandra co-founded "LA CASA DEI SANTI" with her partner Giovanni Calcagno, initiating projects in video art, theater productions, and performance art. From 2011 onwards, her focus shifted to creating short films, often co-authored with Francesca Scotti.

Her films predominantly explore the emotional and relational landscapes of female characters, delving into themes such as the human connection with the environment, the feeling of displacement from one's roots, the significance of art in nurturing the imagination, and the realm of dreams.

Hi folks! I was joking around with a coworker about dating sites, and they casually mentioned older hookups. At first, I thought they were just pulling my leg, but out of curiosity, I signed up. Turns out, it’s legit! The women here are confident, experienced, and a lot of fun. There’s no pretense, just a mutual understanding of what everyone’s looking for. I’ve even made a couple of connections that have turned into regular meetups. Who knew something so casual could work so well?
